YOU COULD GET PREGNANT WHILE STILL A VIRGIN.

This was the third time she was "peeing on a stick" over the past one week. And like was the case in the first two times, there was still two bands on the stick, leaving her perplexed.

She had missed her period for 2 consecutive months, but being a "Virgin", with her hymen still very much intact, the possibility of being pregnant didn't for once cross her mind.

Not until the breasts started filling out and feeling tender, and she started getting the early morning sickness, that her friend managed to convince her to pee on a stick.

Even at that, she still didn't see the need for it; she was no Virgin Mary that she should get pregnant by "immaculate conception". Bobo has never penetrated her, he respected her so much to do that. Besides she wouldn't even allow it herself.

Realizing that Bobo had needs, real needs that needed to be taken care of to keep him from the "bitches" in the streets, who are always eager to play side chic, they had reached a compromise, finding ways to satisfy Bobo while leaving her hymen in tact. They would kiss, smooch, dry-hump, but never penetrate!

Is Stretch Marks Something To Be Ashamed Of?

Stretch marks Look likes scars/or ugly veins and can be engraved deeply on the skin. They are Caused from pregnancy or sudden growth or sports and also whenever rapid weight loss Or gain occurs, basically they appear when there is not enough skin, or to much skin, for your weight!

Stretch marks are like scars in the respect that they will never completely disappear.

It is almost the number one cause of low self esteem on Plus sized ladies.

Not all ladies have it though, some are so lucky they never get the stretchy even after childbirth, some never put to bed yet their body can best be described as stretch mark billboard.

Stretch mark is A form of scarring generally associated with pregnancy, obesity, bodybuilding, and — to a lesser extent — puberty. They come
about as skin is overstretched, disrupting the normal production of collagen. They first appear as reddish or purplish lines, but tend to gradually fade to a lighter color.

They can appear anywhere on the skin that  has been stretched, in males and females.  But females are majority of people that  have them, but
regardless, they cause most people shame and emotional distress. Some people choose to make the best of them and wear them as type of badge of honor.

A lot of lotions and creams have been projected to be totally effective in removing stretch marks, but am yet to see any prove, some get rid of it through tummy tuck, but they always leave a very ugly permanent scar.

Bio-Oil is the popular cream in Nigerian market for treating stretch marks, though down here we always have two class of stretch marks
(A) The Natural one caused by hormones
(B) The artificial one caused by creams

BEING PLUS SIZE AND PROUD (PART 2)

4. Dress Right: Most plus sized women are yet to fund what works for them, or rather, they are confined to the image of "Looking Normal". You are unique and elegant per your size and your dress sense should say so. Stilettoes do not gel well with robust women. Wedge heels not more than 5 inches does. Skimpy wears are a no-no. Traditional African attire, a smart skirt suit works far better than trouser suits. Flattering gowns and knee-length dresses works with curves. Get them dress as you wish to be addressed. Be confident and know that as your rumble your curves, eyes will go with the rhythm.
5. Temper: Do not get easily provoked. People who cast aspersions at you only do so because you stand out enough to give them a subject of discussion. Be mild-mannered. Be even tempered. Do not show frustration by snide remarks. When you do, you're already losing the war on self-confidence. Be cynical in returning insults but do jot be sarcastic. Make the person taunting you look stupid by a smart witty response.

Cleanliness and the plus Sized

Today let's discuss hygiene
It's a very important thing especially what goes on in the shower
Being plus sized and looking dirty is a bad combination, sometimes when I see a fat lady with sweats all over, dark neck I will feel like holding them, shaking them and screaming" what are you doing to your self"
You all will agree with me that dirt is a total turn off on a plus sized chick, dirt makes them look heavier, darker and unkempt.
If you are the type that rushes into the bathroom and rush out immediately you pour water on your self you might want to reconsider.
Our climate is mostly dust, and we sweat a lot thereby magneting the dirt and trapping it under our skin

Lagos places residents on red alert over the Lassa fever outbreak

The Lagos State Government on Wednesday said it was doing everything possible to defeat the deadly Lassa fever like it did during the outbreak of Ebola virus, just as it urged residents of the state to be on red alert by embracing personal and environmental hygiene.
The government also advised residents to block all holes in their homes through which rats could gain entrance, and also refrain from eating rat meat as well as any food already contaminated with urine, saliva and faeces of infected rat.

While briefing journalists on the update of the Lassa fever cases in the State, Commissioner for Health, Dr. Jide Idris, confirmed that so far, the state has recorded 20 suspected cases, out of which 14 tested negative, while 4 cases were confirmed positive.

Idris, who addressed the media alongside the Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr. Steve Ayorinde and the Special Adviser to the Governor on Primary Healthcare, Dr. Olufemi Onanuga, said three results were still being awaited, while 537 contacts have so far been listed, out of which 534 were currently being monitored.

He disclosed that the last confirmed case was a 27-year-old lady who travelled to Edo state on December 24, 2015 and returned to Lagos on January 2, 2016.

The Commissioner said the lady, who reportedly travelled for burial of her relative, became ill on January 14, 2016 and received care in one private hospital and three churches before she was referred on January 23, 2016 to Ijede General Hospital with fever, vomiting, diarrhea and body weakness.

He added that the patient eventually died within few hours of admission, while the case was confirmed as Lassa fever on January 26, 2016.

The remains of the diseased, according to Idris, has been kept in the morgue in leak proof body bag, while she would be buried after due consultation with her family.Out of that case alone, the Commissioner said 90 persons have so far been listed as contacts as at January 26, 2016, while contact tracing is currently on-going.

Giving information on the disease, Idris said: “Members of the public are being sensitized to note that Lassa fever can be contacted through: ingestion of foods and drinks contaminated by the saliva, urine and faeces of infected rats; catching and preparing infected rats as food; inhaling tiny particles in the air contaminated with infected rat urine or droppings, and direct contact with a sick person’s blood or body fluids, through mucous membranes like eyes, nose or mouth.”

While assuring that Lagos State under the leadership of Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode would continue to provide quality, affordable and accessible healthcare to the people towards achieving universal healthcare to all, the Commissioner assured that the government would overcome Lassa fever just as it defeated Ebola virus disease.

Besides, the Commissioner urged residents to maintain basic environmental sanitation, including proper disposal of refuse and avoiding open defecation. He further asked the residents to embrace regular hand washing with soap and water, and maintain high level of personal hygiene as well as adequate nutrition.

While advocating early report of suspected cases, the Commissioner also urged health workers adhere strictly to infection control measures, while mortuary personnel must wear elbow-length gloves, face mask, gowns and other personal protective equipment while attending to remains of dead patients.SIGNED

Why Slimming Drugs Might Not Be The Best Option.

For some weeks now all I have been seeing and reading on social media (Facebook, instagram, whatsapp, blogs and blackberry) are adverts of drugs that will help plus size ladies/men to loose weight within a short period of time(2-5days) without exercises. #odikwa egwu oh.

These products are so many that I had to picmix some of them. If some of us can flashback,an upcoming nollywood actor(can't remember his name now) died through one of these chinese slimming tea.

Please note, I am trying to spoil their business oh but what am saying that we should do all things with moderation especially when it has to do with our health.

Their strategy: They post pictures of their before and after, they post conversations(chat) and then send to groups to get their targets.

My Advice: In as much as you want to loss some weight please my dear friends be very careful. Some of these products can cause harm to our body. You might not get the symptoms now maybe later. Then to my single sisters be wise to know that some of these drugs can reduce your fertility rate.

Dear friends if you wish to loss weight, seek the advice of a doctor, get a weight loss diet plan and exercise.

Lastly, if na because of me naim them make these products....hmmmmmm una go tay for bus-stop infact una company go fold. Lol.

Be wise

Be guided.
