Girl, 4, rescued from inside washing machine in China after climbing inside for 'fun'
Chinese firefighters have rescued a four-year-old girl from a washing machine after she became stuck after climbing inside the machine because she thought it would be fun.
Firefighters were forced to dismantle the inner section of the machine in order to free her, and she was pulled to safety.
Such incidents are common in China and in rare cases, can result in deaths if the machine is turned on while the child is inside.
The girl's name was not given, but it was said she climbed inside the machine because she thought it would be fun.
Realising she was trapped, her panicked parents, in Xuzhou, in east China's Jiangsu province, then called emergency services.
