It was once fit for a queen, but apparently selling her palace ended up being a royal pain.
Queen Latifah recently sold her sprawling nine-acre estate in New Jersey at a loss.
The 45-year-old native of the Garden State ultimately let go of her property for $2.088 million, which falls more than $300K short of
the original asking price.
she currently owns a mansion in Beverly Hills, California it seems she no longer needs the 7,882 square-foot home, surrounded by
equestrian farms and estates.
Its 23 rooms include a great room, gourmet kitchen, library, master bedroom suit, decks off the first and second floor, and an
exercise room with a whirlpool tub.

'Many incredible memories have been shared with those closest to me and my family in this home,' Queen Latifah said in a
statement when she listed the mansion last year.
The Chicago star bought the six bedroom, five bathroom home for $2.14 million soon after it was built in 2001, according to
NorthJersey.com.
Now that selling the New Jersey property is over with, she can focus on letting go of another one on the opposite coast as she
recently listed a Los Angeles bungalow.
According to Variety, she co-owns the home with trainer Jeanette Jenkins and is asking for $1.799 million for the three bedroom,
two bathroom property.
